Beautiful Antique Quarter sawn solid Tiger Oak Victorian Rose Quartz Glass Ball, Eagle Claw Footed, 2-Tier Parlor Table.
This piece was made prior to 1914 by Louis F.
Nonnast Furniture Co.
, of Chicago.
Louis Frederick Nonnast was German woodworker specializing in tables.
He went to Chicago in 1865 and opened his table business.
Louis F.
Nonnast died in his estate on May 17, 1930.
He had manufactured furniture successfully for many years and had acquired considerable wealth.
Last furniture manufactured under Louis F.
Nonnast Furniture Co.
, old name was made in 1914.
Manufacture's mark with "Sons" started after 1914.
It stands 30" tall and top is ~ 28" square.
The bottom shelf, at the narrowest point, measures ~ 15" inches across square.
Very large, eye-catching glass balls in the feet, see comparison with size of coke bottle in one of the photos.
Condition: Great condition for over 100 years of use.
It appears to be in its original finish and can be use in this condition.
