We purchased the chevelle in 2017 from the original owner in Virginia after having engine troubles the car was put into storage in 1988.
Solid car original floors and trunk, replaced rear quarter panels put an after market hood on it to give it some style other than that there was no rust.
Restored bumpers and front grill, new windshield and back window, all new exterior lighting and mirrors, new door handles, house of colors gunmetal grey with one black stripe and two red stripes, lace work done inside the red stripe, house of colors clear all color matched under the hood flushed firewall.
Frame is in really nice condition just cleaned it up and had it painted, new body bushings, fuel lines and brake lines.
New gas tank.
Suspension is all QA1 adjustable height and stiffness four link rear with adjustable pinion angle, upper and lower control arms are QA1 sway bars front and back, close ratio steering box, handles really nice.
Four wheel disc brakes stops like a modern car.
18” wheels with NITTO tires, bigger
in the back, the stance is just right.
The reared is an all new quick performance ford 9” with a Yukon center section for strength and a 370 posi .
700R 4 transmission built by a shop in Tampa.
454 big block with an eagle after market crank and rod set after boring the block the displacement is 496.
Retro fit thumper series roller cam shaft very street-able, Brodix aluminum heads, 770 street avenger carburetor, 3” exhaust, electric fans, vintage air all new Interior with a custom dash and center console.
All receipts kept on the build, the car is finished and has 3500 miles on it some photos where taken during the build.
The only trade I may think about would be a first generation Camaro.
