Barista

NewCity Coffee Co.
is looking for experienced baristas who are passionate about coffee and tea.
We are looking for someone with open availability.
Our baristas are responsible for all front-of-house operations, ranging from taking and preparing orders, to stocking and cleaning the dining room area.
Responsibilities * Greeting customers with a friendly smile.
* Being knowledgeable of company products to assist customers with ordering.
* Multitasking, such as making and taking orders at the same time.
* Following predesigned recipes to maintain consistent products.
* Prepare and maintain bakery area stock and display.
* Basic knowledge of point of sales systems.
* Clean, stock, and organize the café front of house.
* Clean, dry, and organized dishes and silverware.
* Cleaning, calibration, and operation of barista equipment.
Required * 2 years minimum work experience as a barista.
Ideal Candidate * Certified Barista * Excellent work ethics.
* Hands-on experience with coffee/tea brewing equipment.
* Baking experience.
* Sanitation certification or knowledge of sanitation standards.
* Ability to learn and identify regular customers and their preferences.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* High school diploma or equivalent education background.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $12.
00 - $18.
