Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team.
As a crucial member of our kitchen staff, the Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the restaurant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Ability to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
* Ensure all dishes and kitchen equipment are washed and sanitized in accordance with food safety guidelines.
* Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils properly.
* Assist with restaurant cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and kitchen.
* Follow proper sanitation procedures and health regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishes and utensils.
* Report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
* Assist with other tasks as needed, such as food preparation or kitchen organization.
Requirements:
* Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
* Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
