Barista

```Duties``` - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, and food.
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service - Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment - Assist with food preparation, such as baking pastries or assembling sandwiches - Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales ```Skills``` - Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Basic retail math skills for cash handling and calculating change - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for every guest - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure proper handling of food and beverages - Sales skills to promote products and increase revenue - Familiarity with the food industry and understanding of different coffee brewing methods - Proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system We are also looking for people who are willing and able to work behind bar at our Mobile Coffee Carts with our catering crew.
This option could be a more part time opportunity, working only when events come, or in addition to working in our cafe.
