Bartender

Bartender Responsibilities: Provides a pleasant drinking experience to customers.
Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.
Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor.
Ensures smooth operation of bar services during absence of supervisor.
Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
Listens to customer complaints and suggestions and resolves complaints.
Instructs personnel in use of new equipment and cleaning methods and provides efficient and effective methods of maintaining work area.
Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.
Able to assist the team by fulfilling other front of house positions, such as serving tables during their shift, when needed.
Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry working as a bartender A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills Able to handle money accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner Ability to work well with others Extensive knowledge of wine and wine pairing with dishes on the menu Knowledge of common cocktails Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform Willing to engage in further education and evolve Brand: Pisces Rising Address: 239 W 4th Avenue Mount Dora, FL - 32757 Property Description: Pisces Rising Property Number: 1
