We use nothing but the highest quality ingredients and make everything in house! Naturally, we don’t use any artificial ingredients in anything we make, because, well - that’s gross! If we wouldn’t serve it to our own family, we definitely wouldn’t serve it to yours! Coffee? Yep! We serve Intelligentsia Coffee and have crafted a coffee menu that pleases all palettes.

*WORK ENVIRONMENT* The Salty is a fast-paced, team-oriented operation both in the back and front of the house.
The primary focus of our company’s management team is to lead by example, inspire, effectively and openly communicate and be collaborative with the rest of their team.

Ambitious? You bet! Impossible? Nope! - Now let’s get to work and absolutely CRUSH it! *THE JOB* The stewarding team works to keep the kitchen in top shape and running smoothly.
Stewards are responsible for keeping the BOH and FOH clear of any trash or dirty dishes, as well as keeping all aspects of the store in a clean and presentable fashion to our customers.
New stewards will work with the existing stewarding team to train and learn our processes and standards expected of them.
*What We Offer* * Schedule flexibility * Weekly Competitive Pay plus Tips * 6 weeks paid parental leave * Health, dental and vision benefit plan options for full-time team members * Matching Health Savings Account * 401(k) with company match * Company paid life insurance * Employee Assistance Programs * Pet Insurance * 40% off all merchandise, donut and coffee orders, and catering * Friends and family discount * Anniversary Program * PTO * Opportunity for growth, development and advancement in a rapidly growing company *About You* * Previous stewarding experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll teach you everything you need to know! * An extreme attention to detail * Ability to multitask and set priorities * Friendly attitude & team player * Curiosity to continue to learn * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays * Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) * Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds * Fluency to read and communicate in English *What You’ll Be Doing* * Work quickly and efficiently to keep the dish pit clear of dishes * Make regular rounds to the kitchen and front of house to ensure there are no overflowing trash cans, and that trash is removed as necessary * Regularly check the patio area for any trash of glassware that needs to be cleaned up * Ensure the patio area is clear of leaves or trash and is presentable and welcoming to customers * Regularly check bathrooms to make sure they are stocked on toilet paper and that the trash is not overflowing * Regularly wipe down mirrors, sinks, and hand dryers in bathrooms to ensure proper sanitation * Has a thorough understanding of chemicals and cleaning supplies * Communicate with the Executive Pastry Chef and Store Manager when supplies are needed to complete their jobs * Efficiently cleans the floors and floor drains * Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes and glassware * Ensure maintenance of equipment and tools used daily and report any malfunctions to the Executive Pastry Chef immediately * Complete and submit cleaning checklists at designated times * Other related responsibilities as assigned Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $13.
