Summary:
THIS POSITION IS IDEAL JOB FOR RETIREES, STUDENTS AND INDIVIDUALS LOOKING TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR PRIMARY INCOME.
Our Concession Stand team members are responsible administering the basic day-to-day food & beverage
service duties, such as opening and closing, taking food & beverage orders, and
preparing meals and beverages for all events in the KIA CENTER (located at 400 W Church St, Orlando, FL 32801).
Concession Stand Worker Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
Ensure collection and recording receipt of appropriate payment (credit card transactions only); Handle and record credit card transactions in accordance with applicable procedures.
Ensures operation follows every precaution to ensure restaurant food safety guidelines.
Uphold good restaurant hygiene standards and required food preparation practices.
Take orders and serve customers using the point-of-sales system.
Communicate food orders with short order cooks to ensure meals are cooked as ordered and are grouped by customers.
Responsible for handling all credit card transactions for all food and beverage purchases.
Ensure proper cleaning of checkout and concession stands and/or mobile carts.
Ensure beverage coolers and snacks are stocked properly and consistently throughout shift.
Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.
Maintain a working knowledge of beverages offered and how to prepare and serve them.
Accurately answer customers’ questions and provide information on food and beverage procedures, when needed.
Maintain a memorized knowledge of the menu, prices and ingredients; keep abreast of modifications as necessary.
Provide assistance with event set up and break down.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by upper management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Observes customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions.
Replenishes condiments, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
No food & beverage experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic mathematic skills required
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
