Dietary Aide

Duties: - Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and portioning meals.
- Cook and bake various dishes according to recipes and dietary requirements.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked.
- Assist in serving meals to residents or patients as needed.
Requirements: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary.
