*Job Description:*
The Bartender provides service for the restaurant bar.
This position requires a practical, motivated, and proactive individual with a passion for excellent service and exceeding expectations.

*Essential Job Functions:*
* - Prepares beverages according to established recipes and standards.
* - Provides our customers with courteous and pleasant service in a clean and positive environment.
* - Works collaboratively with the kitchen to ensure efficient service.
* - Greets all customers within a visible area.
* - Communicates clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
* - Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
* - Handles customer complaints, resolving issues diplomatically and courteously.
* - Complies with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
* - Reports on any necessary maintenance and repairs to the restaurant equipment.
* - Assists in restocking and maintaining inventory for the bar area when necessary.
Keeps track of losses.
* - Ensures smooth payment transactions and handles cash securely.
Verifies customer receipts are signed.
* - Complies with established sanitation, personal hygiene, and health standards.
Ensures all bar areas are always clean.
Follows closing cleaning procedures.
* - Complies with all company standards, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
* - Learns about all menu items, daily specials, and implements effective sales techniques.
* - Follows all restaurant opening and closing procedures.
* - Performs other related tasks as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* - High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
* - Experience in restaurants, preferably in a high-volume and full-service environment.
* - Excellent communication skills.
* - Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
* - Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant regulations.
* - Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
* - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
*Working Conditions and Physical Demands:*
* - Ability to navigate all parts of the bar quickly.
* - May experience prolonged periods of standing.
* - Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
