Job Summary
The Propagation technician performs manual labor task in the greenhouses associated with the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing medicinal cannabis.
Attention to detail is extremely important.
The ideal candidate will excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state regulated system and timelines.
Essential Responsibilities

Perform daily clone care and oversee water management for clone trays and stock plants.
Perform daily crop walks to monitor plant health, environment, and communicate issues to direct Supervisor as needed.
Assist in plant maintenance of living library of genetics.
Be able to work independently and take direction from Supervisor on stock pruning, cloning, and sanitation of all propagation grow spaces
Cleaning and filling each space to maintain a perpetual grow
General duties around the garden as they relate to the upkeep and cleanliness of the garden
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
The ability to recognize different strains, requirements associated with the strain, growth patterns and identify anomalies within the plants.
Knowledge of growing techniques, including fertigation, cloning, watering, bottoming, topping, etc.
The ability to be cross trained to work in the mom, Clone and Veg rooms.
Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Experience And Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age.
Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills.
Intermediate-level math skills.
Weekend shift required with 2 days off in the week
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Work is performed in a production environment and requires the ability to stand for long periods while required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing, bending and kneeling to obtain supplies or tools.
Employees should be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in an environment that is 85+ degrees and 70% humidity for extended periods.
