Jeff's Bagel Run is a small business in Orlando, FL.
We are customer-centric, social, collaborative and our goal is to bake fresh, bring joy, and build community.

We started in our founder's (Jeff) home kitchen in 2019 and have grown to open 2 locations in the Orlando market.
As of 2024, we are aggressively expanding our business, with 5 more locations opening in 2024.
We are hiring in our *Celebration location.
*We are looking for a dedicated person who is looking to learn the bagel business, and hopefully grow with us as we expand our footprint.
We operate as a team, and we close at 2pm everyday!

*No experience required* although restaurant or bakery experience would be a bonus.

A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, and take pride in consistency, delivering a quality product day in and day out.
*Must be willing to work in a small, hot space, furiously boiling and baking bagels to keep up with a high demand.
Must be a good teammate.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and move quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Other potential workload: Cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, cookie baking, dishes, general cleaning, and front of house service when needed.
Responsibilities and Requirements (*don't worry, we can train you!)*:
* Understands the importance of all baking procedures and recipes
* Prepping and baking bagels
* Open Bake
* Making all dough mixtures in a timely manner using correct procedures
* Understand rotation and shelf life of raw dough
* Clean and disinfect work area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
* Proof bagels
* Recognize the importance of time and temperature
* Responsible for opening store on time
* Able to close the entire bakery
* Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
* Knead and shape dough
* Operate machinery to mix, knead, and shape dough.
* Monitor the quality of the dough throughout the process.
* Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
* Must be able to start work as early as 4am
* Weekend availability required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.
00 - $16.
00 per hour
