As a Gideon's Bakehouse manager you will support the staff and other management in day to day operations including staffing, financials, product ordering, baking, and guest interaction.
Working within Disney Springs is a busy and bustling experience, customers are from all over the world.
Disney guests do their homework and Gideon's Bakehouse offers such an immersive experience we are truly a one of a kind destination bakery.
The following is a list of criteria we are looking for within our candidates to help grow our wonderful bakehouse.
* Responsible for overseeing day to day operation of Gideon’s Bakehouse location to optimize profitability and minimize legal liability by following and staying in compliance with all state, local, national and company standards.
* Professionally handle all guest and employee issues
* Responsible for administering employee evaluations and actively growing the team, including proper training and training recertification of the staff.
* Administrating and following company cleaning and sanitation protocols with thorough opening and closing checklists.
* Ensure proper accounting through proper register procedures of the staff.
* Daily follow up with other management team members to effectively communicate any and all store issues and maintain clear, concise and prompt resolution to any issues that may arise.
* Actively checking all company social media posts daily (we love to do secret special items) and disseminating the information to the staff.
* Most importantly making sure that every guest comes away with a positive and memorable experience that they can’t wait to tell their friends about.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
* Experienced in high volume restaurant/quick service food operations
* Active Servsafe or other Nationally accepted Food Handlers Managers certificate or the ability to obtain one.
* Ability to effectively communicate and interact with groups of multi-functional and diverse people.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills including the ability to properly handle disgruntled guests and/or employees and come to mutually accepted understandings.
* Excellent planning and time management skills including the ability to properly prioritize tasks.
* Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets, Google Documents and other web and computer based functions.

Pay: $40,000.
