Job Description
*SUMMARY*
Responsible for planning, tracking, and optimizing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), leveraging the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS), and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) using Microsoft Project.
The Scheduler will work closely with the Program Manager, Senior Systems Engineer, Product Owners, and external customers to maintain project schedule documentation.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project software, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
* Identify potential schedule risks and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies, ensuring project milestones are met.
* Monitor project progress, update schedules, and communicate schedule changes to stakeholders promptly.
* Generate regular reports on project schedules, resource utilization, and key performance indicators to support decision-making processes.
* Communicate schedule updates, delays, and adjustments to project teams, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, dependencies, and resource allocations.
* Ensure that project schedules adhere to best practices and industry standards, seeking continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize project delivery.
* Provide training and guidance to team members on the use of Microsoft Project software and scheduling techniques.
* Participate on working groups, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), peer reviews, design reviews, and demos.
* Identify schedule risk, maintain reports, and create program schedule briefs.
* Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
* Other duties as assigned.
*SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*

Job Requirements
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
* Bachelor’s degree in business or computer Information Systems desired.
* Must have a minimum three (3) years of experience in Scheduler or Quality Assurance (QA) role.
* Must have a minimum three (3) years of experience in MS Project, Planner, or similar scheduling tool.
* Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment with minimal guidance/supervision.
*DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS*
* Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
* Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Strong time management, attention to detail, analytic, and organizational skills.
* Experience in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (U.
S.
Citizenship required).
*TRAVEL*
Up to 10%.
*DRIVING REQUIREMENT:*
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.
Driving may be required when traveling and/or short occasional amounts of local driving.
The expected driving time is less than 10%.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS*
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling and working with small objects.
Seeing up close, must not be color blind, and must be able to wear protective eye wear.
