As an Engineering Project Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
Working closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the coordination, documentation, and monitoring of project activities to ensure alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.

In this role you will:
Advise and collaborate with cross-functional disciplines (e.
g.
, architecture, engineering, construction administration, interior design, and external consultants) to gather project requirements, track progress, and address potential issues or concerns.
Provide engineering expertise and consultation to Project Managers and project teams for engineering inclusive projects.
Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and timelines to facilitate project execution and monitoring.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and dependencies to ensure smooth project workflows and minimize delays.
Assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks and deviations from project plans.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners to promote transparency and alignment.
May monitor project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocations to ensure compliance with financial guidelines and constraints.
Participate in project meetings, workshops, and reviews to provide updates, insights, and recommendations for project enhancements.
Be involved during the construction administration stage of projects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and tools.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Equivalent years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
10 years of experience.
Possess a strong, all-around understanding of multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm and protection, civil, and structural engineering.
Proven experience in supporting engineering projects or initiatives within a technical environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a client-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Enthusiasm for learning and professional development, with a passion for contributing to meaningful projects and initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership and emotional intelligence skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
