This job posting advertises opportunities for both Summer and Fall 2024 semesters.

Program Dates:
Summer 2024: Approximately May 2024 – August 2024
Fall 2024: Approximately September 2024 – December 2024
JOB SUMMARY: This internship will require writing technical documentation and training deliverables.
Intern will learn to work with technical subject matter experts to obtain content, conduct document reviews, and receive approvals.
Intern will also experience the training design lifecycle, from content identification through piloting a course and gathering feedback.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Updates and publishes external technical specifications.
Creates training courses in PowerPoint and/or elearning on a policy or technical subject.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program
Minimum cumulative 2.
8 GPA is required.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Instructional Design, English, Technical Documentation.
Preferred coursework completed: English Composition, Technical Writing, Instructional Design.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
Experience in VBA, SharePoint administration, Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Rise preferred.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Consistent attendance.

This internship will be an hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2024 or December 2024 to participate in the Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 semester, respectively.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing.
Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
In addition to all of our internships being paid, you may be eligible for financial assistance towards housing if applicable.
