The role you’ll contribute:
The Compensation Analyst supports the design, analysis, and administration of AdventHealth’s compensation programs that support the business strategy, including base pay, incentive pay, and various premium pay programs to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity within assigned markets.
The incumbent supports and communicates pay structure design, pay grades, and pay decisions that align with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines and perform job evaluations, develop/maintain job descriptions, and job architecture for assigned markets.
Participates in compensation survey process, conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Completes compensation related transactions and case management efforts while ensuring all service level agreement (SLA) targets are achieved for assigned markets, including appropriate documentation.
Conducts job pricing utilizing compensation best practices and AH guidelines to formulate recommendations for pay grade placement.
Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate job exemption status in accordance with FLSA and other federal regulations.
Ensures the ongoing integrity of the job architecture framework by effectively educating and communicating with HRBP’s and leaders as required.
Conducts data audits to optimize business processes while eliminating unwarranted administrative variation.
Administers the job description business processes (e.
g.
, reviewing for accuracy/drafting/editing job descriptions).
Effectively communicates to team members/managers as needed, bringing questions of interpretation and escalating issues to lead or manager as needed.
Maintains ongoing and up-to-date knowledge of company-wide policies, AH structure/leadership, and industry best practices.
Assists with annual market adjustment process as requested.
Assists with analyzing the impact of new programs or changes to programs, preparing reports that indicate differences and potential impacts including costs, workforce impacts, procedure impacts and communication impacts.
Audits and analyzes pay changes, trends in ad hoc pay changes, and pay increases outside of base pay to ensure compliance with policy and alignment with best practices.
Proactively reports on pay equity concerns or savings opportunities related to pay programs.
Serves as an information source regarding pay practices and policies; provides advice to leadership on new or non-routine compensation decisions for employees, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.
Understands AdventHealth’s various markets and their place within the organizational structure.
Proactively seeks additional projects as workload varies.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree plus two years of work experience within a Human Resources team environment required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Online survey library experience
Human Capital Management (HCM) experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
