As a Specialist on the Communications Technology team, you will wear multiple hats as a content producer, project manager, and technology consultant.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Communications Technology as part of a specialized team of digital experts amplifying the impact of Public Relations, Public Affairs, and Internal Communications at Disney Parks.

What You Will Do Performing the role with excellence includes having exemplary communication skills, strong drive for collaboration and engagement, ability to articulate a technical solution to non-technical partners, ability to guide clients through complex decisions and processes, quality and improvement, understanding of user experience design, and excellent project management skills.
Empower: Build and maintain reusable content templates and building blocks in content creation tools, and train others in how to use them.
Support: Guide content owners and creators in effective digital communications via project consultation, training, and documentation.
Build: Lead project teams or guide content owners in building digital communications, including WordPress websites and HTML emails.
For select projects, independently handle content build-out and management.
Design: Create magical and inclusive user experiences across cast and guest-facing platforms by transforming business requirements and editorial into rich, beautiful destinations.
Work with developers and technology partners to implement and validate designs.
Adapt: Continuously grow your knowledge of the global business and stay flexible to deliver on new Communications priorities, including confidential and time-sensitive projects.
Innovate: Research new solutions, techniques, trends, and skills as technology evolves to provide forward-thinking solutions.
Imagine: As a member of the larger DX Content Creation and Digital Integration team, be part of the team dreaming up and pitching new ways to engage audiences.
Required Qualifications & Skills 2+ years’ experience in web design, UX design, or technical consulting.
Experience with industry-standard design and prototyping applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, InVision, or Figma.
Experience building and managing sites on WordPress CMS.
Fluency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications for media editing and optimization, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Media Encoder.
Experience building and interpreting website analytics reports, and implementing campaign tracking across digital touch points.
Passion for digital accessibility and inclusion (WCAG, WAI-ARIA, ADA, multi-language) Flexible, organized, and motivated to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver projects.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, digital communications, digital marketing, or related area.
Passion for the brands and offerings of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
Experience incorporating internal style guides or design frameworks into digital content or platforms.
Experience with front-end web development technologies (HTML/CSS/JS).
Experience managing complex project tasks and deliverables.
Understanding of website performance, analytics, and SEO.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch.
Written proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English, such as Spanish, Haitian Creole, or French.
Familiarity with existing Disney external communication platforms, including disneyconnect.
