We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney! The team is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to become our Senior Business and Information Analyst.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in engaging with the business on behalf of the Tech & Digital project team and providing technical guidance and oversight.
The Senior Business and Information Analyst will work to understand complex business needs and define technology and service requirements to maximize delivery of business value.
This role will translate business needs into requirements that Tech & Digital can use to design and develop solutions.
They will ensure the required outcomes are built, tested, and delivered.
The Senior Business Analyst is also responsible for coaching and guiding other Analysts in business requirements gathering, as well as developing best practices in business analysis.
What You'll Do: Cultivate a strong network (formal and informal) of technology and business leaders.

Provides some technical guidance and oversight.
Leads in moderately complex analysis, providing guidance and oversight.
Supports the development of business analysis best practices for the organization.
Mentors team members on best practices and standards.
Recommends improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team.
Supports pre-project business problem elicitation, feasibility, and business case definition.
Works with the business to determine the real issue that needs to be solved or the opportunity to do things differently.
Develops moderately complex business cases, in particular ensuring benefits align to strategic and tactical business objectives.
Supports the business in business, technical and financial feasibility assessments.
Monitors emerging trends and identifies those which will be useful to both the business and IT in the delivery of the projects.
Performs process modeling.
Discovers and documents the as-is process by applying various process modeling techniques.
Identifies high-level solution options for the business and presents these to stakeholders for review.
Designs and models the to-be process, performing gap analysis and identifying areas for improvement.
Reviews, and signs off on solution designs, ensuring business requirements are verified, validated, and delivered.
Organize, prioritize/sequence and communicate portfolio activities across the teams with dedicated focus to ensure everyone is coordinated, organized to anticipate, and mitigate risks or challenges.
Coordinates and facilitates Executive stakeholder, leadership and other Sr team meetings including agenda setting, guest coordination, note taking, follow-ups and next steps.
Coordinate Town Halls and other similar events.
Provide business change management support.
Ensures the benefits, impact and release of all changes are tracked and managed and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Ensures end users and IT support teams are fully trained to use, support, and maintain the application/solution.
Shapes the business customer experience through business engagement and stakeholder management activities, including change and support activities.
Provides project management and program management support.
Provides subject matter expertise on the business unit and associated processes and systems to all relevant team members.
Supports the development and maintenance of multiple project timelines that reflect all phases, tasks, and dependencies to ensure alignments with organizational and project/program goals and objectives.
Assists in identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
Assists the team in resolving any questions related to requirements or process.
Delivers the required documentation during each stage of the project.
Supports post-implementation reviews and incorporates lessons learned into future work.
Required Qualifications & Skills: Experience (5+ years) in a similar role Experience in business analysis techniques, such as information gathering methods, requirements documentation, process modeling and process mapping.
Experience managing and prioritizing projects and working seamlessly with various teams and stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not defined, constantly evolving, and broad through self-reliance and resourcefulness.
Required Education: Four-year degree in field such as Information Technology, Business, or similar field or related work experience.
