The Supply Chain Logistics team leads the global flow of information and product for multiple segments of The Walt Disney Company.
We do this through world-class logistics systems, optimizing logistics processes and bringing innovation to how we do logistics business.

What You Will Do Lead various aspects of logistics client relationship and third party supply chain companies service policy commitments for product destined to Disney Clients including, but not limited to: Daily Client relationship management, Daily Supply Chain Partner relationship management, transportation daily flow services, freight audit/allocation and payment, help desk administration, logistics systems visibility, and logistics projects and optimization analysis in order to deliver product to the right place, at the right time, at the lowest possible cost that meets our service commitments.
Lead the system users daily operations – ready to ship, planning, shipment tendering, consolidation, delivery receipt, audit and payment.
Manage all shipments from Supplier cancel date, delivery compliance, consolidation, shipment documentation, to final destination appointments Logistics network flow optimization – lane, hub and flow processes.
Handle efficient product flow and strategies via exceptions management to meet product demand Freight terms optimization – Convert Supplier managed freight costs imbedded in first cost to Disney managed freight Manage the forecast of upcoming volume Carrier needs and commitments.
EDI critical metric compliance to meet inbound visibility needs.
Performance dashboard quarterly CIP sessions.
Create and maintain Logistics models for operations teams and clients (e.
g.
estimated landed cost issues, cycle time issues, alternative transit costs, etc) Tableau reporting – status of orders to merchants, planning and distribution center.
Implement and verify results of the Logistics Client Service Policy quarterly metrics, scorecards and dashboard.
Analyze and validate quarterly dashboard results and coordinate adjustments Implement systems User Acceptance testing, feedback and input to drive optimal solutions.
Identify spend variance reasons and strategize solutions.
Assist in development of Logistics Budgets, cause of change and five year planning.
Track Freight Audit, Allocation, Payment and Claims.
Logistics Projects: Lead projects as identified in our business planning process that drive improvements in service, cost systems or other areas as deemed necessary.
Participant in development of user operating guidelines, training and performance.
Work with Managers and Sr Mgrs on Training manual, training and improvement/issues resolution on supplier route guides.
This is a 12 month temporary assignment.
Required Qualifications & Skills 2+ years in a project management, supply chain role equivalent experience, International Logistics Experience preferred Strong in use of Systems Tools/Database: Access, SQL, Visio, Oracle TMS or equivalent, Payables, Tableau, ERPs Education Bachelor’s degree in accounting, supply chain, industrial or system engineering required Benefits: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
