Java Developer Architect
Location: Lake Mary, Florida or Remote
Level: Mid to Senior Level
Summary
This Mid to Senior level Java Developer Architect position requires 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in building and maintaining architecture for large scale Java based applications.
As a Java Developer Architect, you will play a critical role in building and implementing architecture utilizing cloud base technologies and integrations with internal and external tools to achieve business goals.

Collaborate with dev leads, product owners, and fellow developers to understand project requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java applications.
Estimates effort before beginning tasks, focusing on learning to improve estimation skills.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve development practices.
Maintains existing applications as well as creates new functionality.
Self-motivated and goal oriented.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Experience in working with Java frameworks and libraries (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate and others) and web development technologies (e.
g.
, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience in Relational Database design, SQL and Stored Procedures (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Experience in Angular/React/Vue, mobile application development and Micro Services architecture.
Experience in Cloud based architectures using cloud technologies (e.
g.
, AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, Pinpoint, Elastic Search, RDS, Distributed Load Testing, etc.
)
Experience in Kubernetes and developing/utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage Java applications on Kubernetes.
Experience in Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of Java applications on Kubernetes.
Experience in optimizing Java applications and Kubernetes configurations for performance and resource efficiency.
Experience with a variety of development tools including Eclipse IDE, Git version control, Azure DevOps, Jira.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) and ArchGis tool is a plus.
Experience in working with Agile team is a plus.
