Job Summary:
About the Role & Team
The Business and Process Transformations team provides initiatives and project support to internal customers within the Credit-to-Cash organization.
The scope of work includes the management of initiatives, process documentation, opportunities, and gap identification as well as the definition, creation, and reporting of important metrics for the departments supported.
This team also focuses on delivering reporting and automation solutions to our internal partners.
The role supports the Business-2-Business, Groups and Conventions, Wholesale, Participants & Alliances, as well as Credit Card Management and the Payments Center of Excellence.
What You Will Do
Identify and document department internal and external processes.
Develops functional requirements associated with technology initiatives.
Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of technologies.
Find opportunity areas within the processes supported.
Brainstorm on the potential solutions for the ongoing improvement of departments.
Coordinate the testing efforts associated with system releases and new interfaces.
Create and coordinate project and communication plans.
Performs the definition, implementation, and reviews of controls.
Develop and communicate updates associated with projects and controls.
Measures and report the results of remediation initiatives and projects.
Develop processes to capture important metrics in the departments.
Assist in reporting to the managers
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2-3 years working in Tableau or Business Objects.
1-2 years of proven experience with process improvements.
Strong Knowledge of general accounting and internal controls.
Capable of preparing and presenting information to support business decision-making.
Strong analytical and concise writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Drive and desire to learn new systems and technologies to implement new solutions.
Ability to establish and develop effective relationships with internal and external partners.
Willingness to present operational and financial information and arguments to leadership and executives seeking executive approval.
Working knowledge of project management.
Experience identifying and maintaining department operational metrics.
Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and Macros
Experience in the use of visualization to present information, emphasis on Tableau.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and establish priorities.
Demonstrated ability to manage expectations to upper management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Project Management, or related area required
