Systems Support interns will work on dynamic software development projects in support of Marketing Partnerships, Alliances, and Card Services (MPACS).
Interns will also provide administrative support to existing systems and platforms within MPACS.
If you are selected for this role, you will report to the Business & Systems Integration Manager.
This is a full-time role in Orlando, FL and the approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through January 2025.
What You Will Do Practice system requirements gathering, analysis and design methodologies.
Support the design and development of SharePoint, PowerApps, and Power Automate Solutions based on client requirements.
Monitor new SharePoint, PowerApps, and Power Automate features and functionality and ensure changes are properly communicated and tested.
Create sites, lists, views, forms, SharePoint Designer Workflows, and web parts.
Perform maintenance and enhancements and ongoing SharePoint and Power Platform administration.
Work with leadership on a technically focused project and present the groups' results to the executive team at the end of the program.
Conduct external software testing.
Write and maintain user guide documentation and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience with Microsoft services such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
Experience with Monday.
com and/or Smartsheet project management platforms preferred.
The ability to work independently and in a team with developers providing guidance and support.
A desire to learn new skills, including self-study if needed.
The ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
True enjoyment of technology and the desire to contribute to a team’s output.
The ability to focus on details of a system change request to determine all potential functional paths.
The ability to read through existing code with the support of a senior developer.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Education Undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at an accredited college/university, studying Information Systems, Information Technology, or a technology-aligned business-related field is preferred.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Be at least 18 years of age Not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
