Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Consult clients and consulting teams on most relevant tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements
Be a part of developing architecture, design, and implementation documentation
Perform the build-out, management, and support activities of the entire application landscape across multiple tiers (development, test, pre-prod, production)
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
Work with other team members on objectives to meet client timelines and goals

Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
6+ years of experience in enterprise Linux system administration and infrastructure support
Configure and maintain Linux Operating systems
Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configuration
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, access levels, and enforce security policies.
Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues, system logs, alerts, and performance metrics
Configure and manage network settings, including IP addresses, subnets, mount points and routing tables
Implement firewall rules and network security protocols, security best practices, including intrusion detection, firewall configuration, and access control
Deep knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian
Experience with OS Linux, JBoss-AppServer and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience in application monitoring and telemetry, identifying and isolating performance bottlenecks, managing multi-tier and active-active application architecture
Deploy, support, and maintain Linux Virtual Machines
Apply hardening to RHEL 7,8 or higher per DISA STIG requirements
Administrate RHEL6,7,8 Servers in a DoD Environment
Linux Shell Scripting experience
Configuration Management tool experience with Ansible and/or Satellite
Experience writing long lived and thorough technical documentation
DoD STIG Security Technology Implementation Guide Process experience
VMWare vSphere experience
Experience with Splunk SPL, Querying, and Dashboards Capable of using Windows Servers and Desktops to accomplish tasks
Capable of flexibility to support after hours patch activities and deployments as required
Must be in your designated office location 10%-30% of each work week
Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do, the clients you serve and industries/sectors you serve.
Must live near, or relocate to, the Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ; or Mechanicsburg, PA areas
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred
Linux Certifications: Linux+, LPIC, RHCA, or RHCE
Current Security+ certification
