Full-Stack Java Engineer
This role is hybrid based in NYC or Pittsburgh, PA
Asset Servicing Team - BNY Mellon Asset Servicing provides global solutions tailored to meet our clients’ unique needs to help enhance the management, administration and oversight of their entire investment process and deliver the tools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor and measure investment data from around the world.
We are seeking a strong Senior Java Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in Micro-Services to join our ETF Technology Team.
Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge on designing/architecting micro-service-based application platform including the user-side frontend, as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side.
The ideal candidate would have 5-7 years of experience.
in Java/JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, experience in Microservices / Rest API / SQL
Extensive experience in designing/building transactional systems with leading RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle etc.
)
At least 3 years of experience in Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Team City, TDD, experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Knowledge & experience in Agile/Scrum framework Experience of building and maintaining large-scale software products.
Experience in building and maintaining best in class software products utilizing micro services Experience in Conducting automated testing, CI/CD and Dev Ops Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering.
Team player with an ability to lead, mentor junior developers Additional responsibilities include –
Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.
MODIFIED BASED UPON LOCAL REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
5-7 years of experience in software development required;
experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees.
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $111,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
