in Lake Mary, Florida is looking for an Engineering Integration Associate (INTERNSHIP) – Hybrid Schedule ROLE DESCRIPTION: MUST be currently Enrolled in a bachelor’s Program in Engineering or Project Management from an accredited college or university.
GPA Requirement: Minimum 2.
9 Cumulative GPA Work Schedule: During School need to be able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during business hours and can work up to 28 hours a week Max if a fit for the Student and During Breaks can be up to 40 hours a week as needed.
(we will work around your school schedule and Finals).
Length of Internship: 6 months minimum and could extend longer if a fit for the student and need to be able to commit to this time frame if selected.
Must be able to start as soon as needed.
SUMMARY The internship on the Mitsubishi Power Engineering Integration team allows a current student to gain valuable experience in the Power Industry.
During their time with Mitsubishi, interns will perform an array of tasks that have direct impact on current internal and external projects we are executing.
Mitsubishi will give the intern terrific experience in real world project execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the collective Engineering teams to support the development of new software tools.
Contribute to the development and refinement of project requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring clarity, completeness, and feasibility.
Contribute to the development and refinement of product configuration models and ensuring software development meets the requirements agreed with stakeholders.
Assist the Group Managers, Execution and Applications engineering with short term and long-term work assignments and achieve the required results in a timely fashion and with high quality.
Tasks may include schedule development & template creation, process improvement, database support, and other common duties.
Gain a basic understanding of Power Industry technology and how products are scoped and executed.
Perform other such duties as may be required.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a high level of understanding of the core products and technologies delivered by Mitsubishi Power.
Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills by identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
It is expected that the intern can work on the assigned tasks independently and with minimum supervision after receiving training on how to complete each task.
Actively participate in a working environment where teamwork, quality, customer service and innovation are emphasized.
Willing and able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
The group shall adhere to all company policies, business practices and standard operating procedures and report all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Moderate knowledge in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
).
