QA Automation Engineer

*Requisition Information:* The opening request aims to support testing of admin functionalities, necessitating the involvement of US-based team members *Job Description:* As a QA Analyst within the Production Services team at BNY Mellon, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow applications developed in an Agile environment.
Collaborating closely with developers, you'll design and execute test procedures, contributing to the decision-making process for software release readiness.
You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, use cases, and defect reports.
Automation will be a key aspect of your role, and you'll be expected to conduct functional and regression testing using tools like Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Selenium.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be translating technical information into business terms and working within an Agile development team.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Analyze business requirements and develop test documents (Test Plans, Test Cases, Defect Log Reports).
* Execute repeatable test procedures manually to validate application quality in an Agile environment.
* Conduct detailed defect reporting.
* Provide accurate testing updates to stakeholders.
*Required Skills/Experience:* * 3-5 years of QA experience, including ServiceNow testing.
* 5+ years of automation experience, with proficiency in ATF and Selenium.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and multitask.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Ability to obtain a security clearance.
* Strong communication skills, translating technical information into business terms.
*Preferred Skills/Experience:* * 1-2 years of QA experience, preferably with ServiceNow applications.
* ITIL Foundation Certification and ServiceNow CSA Certification.
* Experience with other test automation tools (e.
g.
, LoadRunner).
* Familiarity with ServiceNow suite of applications.
*Education Requirements:* * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
