Versar Global Solutions seeks a full-time Data Quality Clerk in Ocoee, FL.
Your Impact
Performs routine inspections on an assigned percentage of completed work orders as dictated by AM contract stipulations to verify compliance with standards.
Keeps current and accurate records to comply with the Quality Assurance Review stipulations and requirements and assists the Project Manager with documentation and compilations for inspection by the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX).
Prepares documentation and reports for Project Manager’s review and approval.
Maintains project database with current information required to produce accurate reports to the client.
Advises the Project Manager of changing policies and conflicts with standards on current or planned work.
Inspects in-house and subcontractor work.
Tracks QC work order status and complete timesheet.
Understands and abide by the standards for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.
Monitors and maintains a current library of CFX and all related agency policies and procedures required to perform work at contract standards.
Participates in client meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
Travels project area to perform position duties.
Works at night, performing inspections of reflectivity and lighting assets when needed.
Drives company vehicles.
Uses all equipment safely.
Assist with development of the site/project’s safety program to include the safety plan, conducting safety training, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting the overall safe operation and culture of the company.
Manage Structure Work Order (bridges and signs) QA and attend the Feasible Action Review Committee (FARC) Meetings for issued work orders; Review processes and documents to ensure QA compliance with required procedures in cooperation with the Project Manager.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to Versar’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Other such activities as may be required by Versar to maintain compliance to project requirements.

18+ years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate with managers and coworkers in English effectively
Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License, with the ability to drive vehicles in a safe and conscientious manner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop, and twist and perform duties using appropriate tools and equipment within safety standards; Ability to walk over uneven ground
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to work along local roadways, interstates, and or/highways with commuter traffic passing by at varying rates of speed
Willingness to work multiple shifts and varying hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime
Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen
Literacy in all Microsoft programs required for reporting on spreadsheets and graphs as needed
Possess good oral and written communication skills
Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations
Ability to read, interpret, and use the client's and manufacturer's design standards
Ability to advise project personnel of quality and client recommendations to improve performance
Displays a high level of initiative, effort, attention to detail and commitment by completing assignments efficiently with minimal supervision.
Follows policy, cooperates with supervisors, and align behavior with the goals of the organization.
Within 60 days of project startup and throughout employment, maintain an Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Certification (provided by the company).
This role is subject to a client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy.
As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests.
A copy of the client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of Quality Control experience in construction inspection, facility maintenance, construction, or public works preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience would be acceptable, substituting 3 years of work experience with college or technical school coursework in business administration, construction technology/management, or engineering.
1+ years of higher education, FDOT or other DOT certifications
Knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in maintenance work
