Position Summary: As an Airport Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing plans, reports, and technical specifications for airport improvement projects, mainly involving civil engineering.
Florida Professional Engineer license is required.
Position Responsibilities: As an Airport Design Engineer, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Performing civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D for airport infrastructure projects.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of senior engineers/designers.
Conducting field work as directed by senior engineers/designers.
Assisting in various engineering tasks on projects of different complexities.
Collecting data and information to support design decisions.
Ensuring compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards.
Creating engineering models to meet project specifications and requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of airport design experience with a strong knowledge of FAA standards.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with a strong focus on client service.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Willingness and aptitude for learning new skills.
Must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident.
Senior positions are available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Expected Hours of Work: The work schedule is Monday through Friday, up to 8 hours per day.
The ICE offices are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
On occasion, overtime may be required to support the project schedule.
