Summary
The Audio Designer applies a comprehensive, disciplined knowledge to planning and communicating Freeman client's audio production requirements to operations and execution teams while improving efficiencies, controlling costs, and providing a seamless workflow of information.
This role is involved prior to, during, and after the event to ensure successful delivery of service and execution.
This position will aid in the assignment of design team resources to events that incorporate an integral product knowledge and ability to generate focused and timely deliverables while maintaining a high-level technical skillset to deliver expectational service and products to clients.
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team.
It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week.
The ideal candidate will be based out of Orlando, FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Engages in opportunity development and event design by providing technical audio production expertise to sales, operations, and execution teams.
Collaboration on CAD designs with project/event management to ensure feasibility and manage costs while designing to Company standards to ensure proper execution of the event.
Provides support during budgeting and scope discussions
Work directly with operations to ensure completion of production documentation, assess staffing requirements, and define equipment requirements
Oversee the planning and design of operational activities for assigned events
Participate in regular production meetings with project/event management to ensure production deliverables meet client expectations.
Facilitates communication with execution teams and confirms production details between the project/event management and operations.
Oversee design requirements to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions that meet client expectations.
Communicate client objectives and plans to operational and execution staff.
Attend post event de-briefs to ensures insights and experiences are documented to improve future opportunities.
Assignment of resources to events based off scope and understanding of skillset required.
Attends weekly operations meetings & provides event information/feedback.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High School Graduate, Bachelor’s in related field preferred
Minimum of 4 years industry experience
Travel Requirements
Travel 25% to 50%
