We are hiring! The Mechanical Engineer is an integral part of our Architecture Engineering Team.
This is an entry-level position and is based out of Orlando, FL.

How will you contribute to the team? Applies standard engineering practices and techniques in specific situations which may include the following: Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) System Analysis Basis of Design creation/write-up Various system level calculations Energy and load calculation modeling Revit Mechanical System modeling or AutoCAD drafting Assists in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings including air distribution and hydronic piping layout/sizing, control sequences and schematics and scheduling mechanical equipment.
Carries out specific assignments in preparing, reviewing and assembling specifications.
Participates in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks.
These tasks may include collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate systems/solutions.
Prepares assigned sections of reports working under the close review of a more experienced professional.
Participates on projects involving construction activities by reviewing shop drawings for conformance with construction documentation including specifications; assists in recordkeeping and in generating progress reports; and observes construction procedures/means and methods while validating conformance to the construction documents.
Prepares material for reports and permit/bid applications, gathering information, writing rough outline, and/or preparing work progression documents and graphic presentations.
Performs field observations of construction where appropriate.
Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
What will you contribute? EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years’ experience in related technical field, internship in engineering or commercial construction preferred.
EDUCATION: B.
S in Mechanical Engineering Relevant Coursework Thermodynamics Fluid Mechanics Mechanical Design Materials Science Control Systems Heat Transfer SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong interpersonal skills, technical writing skills, technical software experience including Revit, ACAD, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, Mathcad, etc.
