Overview:
Architect/Designer II will support the development of construction documents for a large-scale project.
The Architect/Designer II will work under the guidance of senior architects and project leads to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of construction documents and specifications in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
The Architect/Designer II will implement LEED requirements into the design and support construction administration services during construction.
Responsibilities:
1.
Collaborate with project team to understand design concepts and technical requirements.
2.
Prepare architectural plans, details, sections, and elevations.
3.
Contribute to the development of construction specifications and material schedules.
4.
Incorporate design changes and revisions into documents.
5.
Conduct research on building materials and systems.
6.
Review product data and assist in resolving technical issues.
7.
Participate in document quality control processes.
8.
Organize and maintain project files and documentation.
9.
Incorporate LEED requirements into the design.
10.
Manages the submittal and RFI response process.
11.
Contributions to constructability reviews and coordination meetings.
12.
Assist with permitting process, including response to comments.
13.
Organized project files and documentation.
14.
Conduct site visits.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture with 6 to 8 years of work experience.
· LEED Green Associated or LEED AP preferred but not required.
· Proficient in using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite.
· Capable of supporting multiple projects.
· Strong technical and architectural detail knowledge.
· General understanding of the building codes
· Effective communication and collaboration skills.
· Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
