Job Details:
Job Summary: Performs test engineering assignments following designated standards and procedures.
Duties include the application of well-defined test techniques and are of a fundamental nature and moderate degree of complexity.
This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for testing software
Create and execute manual test cases during component testing, integration testing and UAT testing.
Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback.
Work with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes.
Work closely with software and Hardware developers to create test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.
Provides technical feedback on testing performed
record test results
create test reports, KPIs or other test related documentation when needed
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year technical degree plus a minimum of two years experience related to production, test and evaluation, or test equipment development.
Experience in production test, failure analysis, and test equipment selection and development is desired.
Requires excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to use PC and standard Microsoft Office applications in the preparation of reports, documents, and charts.
CAD and test equipment programming skills highly desirable.
This role is required to be on site.
