Job Summary
As a Electrical Engineering Intern with JBT AeroTech, you will .

Work under the direction of lead engineers to conduct research projects, project designs, and project documentation.
The successful Electrical Engineering Intern should be a self-motivated individual who will accept input and direction from multiple sources and produce required outcomes.
You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
Responsibilities
New product and vendor research
Replacement of obsolete parts and materials
Test of new parts and materials
Evaluation of cost reduction projects and efforts
Evaluation of proposed product improvements (Engineering Change Requests)
Evaluation of component specifications
Participation in design and software reviews and validations
Participation in design and validation of complex heavy duty mobile electrical systems
Complete and test new design concepts
Drawing revisions as required
Routine use of Siemens NX CAD system and Teamcenter are required
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; or graduate of Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology (less than one year); or currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Masters Program
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient using common electronic test equipment including DVM and oscilloscope
Knowledge of common hand tools and electrical tools
Comfortable working independently or as a team
User experience with 3D CAD programs (Unigraphics NX preferred)
Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
