Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas.
MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.

MFC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded software.
Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications.
Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++.
It is desirable that the candidate have experience with embedded development using a real-time operating system.
For this first assignment, the candidate will work in a team with both technical and career leaders.
Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.
#MFC23 Basic Qualifications: C++ 11 or greater Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS) Desired Skills: Agile Scrum Algorithm implementation Continuous integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) / DevSecOps – familiarity Data Distribution Services (DDS) – preferably RTI’s version Full software life-cycle development Git/Gitlab - source code versioning Jira - issue tracking and agile project management Multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
