Precise Systems seeks a Software Developer Journeyman to deliver services to our Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) customers in Orlando, Florida.
All work is performed on site, 5 days per week, in Orlando, Florida.
No remote delivery authorized.
Duties:
Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements
Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Required Education:
B.
S.
in computer engineering or computer science.
Required Experience:
Candidate must have approximately 3 or more years of experience with software development.
Requires knowledge of software engineering functions including:
requirements development, configuration management, quality assurance, testing, reliability and maintainability, cost estimating, risk analysis, metrics, and human factor integration
DoD acquisition and military training experience preferable.
Desired Certifications:
Per SECNAV M-5239.
