Description:Lockheed Martin in Orlando is looking for C++ coders who want to work on cutting edge national security programs.
Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems.
This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.
For this first assignment, the candidate will be developing software for an air-to-ground system that will provide close range platforms the capability to defeat rapidly relocatable targets.
The candidate and their team will test the tactical code in an Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) and a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) environment.
The candidate and their team will implement complex algorithms and coordinate with other disciplines to deliver Weapon Open Systems Architecture (WOSA) solutions.
Candidates filling this position will need a clearance at the level specified in "Clearance Level" or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.
In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
