JOB SUMMARY: The Programmer Analyst’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.
This includes writing, coding, testing, analyzing and supporting software programs and applications.
The Programmer Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaise with other technical staff to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
Provide day-to-day application support on software systems at all the Orlando Parks Technology locations.
Provides after hours on-call support and collaborates and assist other Parks Technology locations as needed.
Build, deploy, and maintain system configuration of supported software systems adhering to defined standards while meeting business requirements.
Develop new system functionality and integrations available using API tools.
Design, run and monitor software tests on new and existing enterprise applications for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Define, develop, and document software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree Application Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3+ years’ experience in an information systems function or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience with technical support of enterprise applications, especially Maximo and Oracle preferred.
Solution planning and execution of installations, upgrades and hotfixes.
Application support in excess of 50 unique locations is ideal.
Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, DB2 is required.
SQL programming experience is preferred.
Experience with general programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Powershell) is preferred.
Experience with Intermediate Programming Languages such as Java is preferred.
Experience in the MRO and/or food supply chain industry preferred.
