GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Help execute NNN REIT’s internal and external communications strategies, increasing NNN’s digital footprint while helping grow the NNN REIT brand.
With a combination of graphic design expertise and financial knowledge, the ideal candidate will work closely with senior management and other departments, vendors, tenants, investors and others to enhance NNN’s brand messaging and design style.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing
Help expand NNN’s digital marketing capabilities, including streamlining and improving presentations, graphics, website, flyers and other materials as well as monitoring/magnifying the company’s overall brand messaging
Enhance and monitor social media activity; study the metrics of and suggest improvements to NNN’s digital footprint, including creating reports on NNN’s website and social media activities
Coordinate fulfillment of brand and logo requests from other departments and third parties
Assist with migration and upkeep of department records to cloud-based storage system
Help coordinate NNN Portal content with IT staff and maintain internal associate, event and property portfolio photo directories
Presentations, Printed & Branded Material
Prepare presentations and coordinate with senior management on presentation updates including printing and shipping of pitch books
Coordinate updating, printing and shipping of quarterly investor fact sheet, handouts, flyers, etc.
and update company information for conferences and meetings
Coordinate compilation, updating and uploading of quarterly board book presentation content
Manage promotional item ordering and inventory of on-site and off-site department storage
Stakeholder Communications
Maintain a working knowledge of NNN’s operations and reported results and help develop strategies to maintain favorable public and stakeholder views of the company
Assist with investor inquiries re: company’s stock, DRIP, and other shareholder issues while acting as helpdesk for retail shareholders, DRIP participants and transfer agent communications
Explain basics of company story while attending retail investor conferences as exhibit booth staff (approximately 4-6 conferences per year, both in-person and virtual)
Conferences & Events
Coordinate ordering, shipping, receiving, and set up of booth and contents for annual ICSC Las Vegas conference, MoneyShow conference series, Better Investing National Conference and other industry trade shows
Attend ICSC Las Vegas conference; explain basics of company story while staffing booth; act as on-site point person for catering, booth labor, ICSC and other vendors
Manage investor relations logistics and calendar of events including schedule of institutional investor conferences and meetings
Assist with NNN company events such as Volunteer Days, holiday party, Family Day, Corporate 5K, holiday luncheons and company event ticket program
Help manage NNN Awards program
Assist with coordination of Board of Director meetings, including luncheons, dinners, hotel meetings, off-site retreats
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in digital marketing, graphic design, or digital media preferred
5+ years of proven digital marketing experience in a communications role.
Financial knowledge and/or familiarity with capital markets and investor relations strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (preferably on both Windows and Mac platforms) as well as SEO software; experience designing for both digital and print
Ability to create and adjust charts, graphs, illustrations, infographics and other artworks
Ability to understand web and mobile design standards and best practices and how video can be integrated within these different platforms
Keeps current with creative trends; monitors and utilizes emerging media technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with financial knowledge as well as strong listening and analytical abilities
Strong layout skills with typographic and color theory competence; Knowledge of pre-press and printing processes a plus
In-depth understanding of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization best-practices and experience with Google Analytics
Displays strong initiative, self-motivation and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
Maintains a long-term perspective and excellent attention-to-detail to ensure a high quality work product from self and others
