13, 2023 Program: Javelin Description:MFC is seeking an Operations Quality Engineer (QE) for one of our highly demanded programs out of Orlando, FL.
The position requires basic level of quality engineering experience.
Responsibilities include: Develops, implement, and/or reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions/procedures for the inspection and test of manufactured and procured products, Design, verify and/or analyze inspection/test processes, mechanisms, and equipment; evaluates product tests results, performs and supports statistical analysis to assess risk on products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
Leads and / or participates on Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations.
Participates as an active member of Preliminary Material Review Boards.
Supports the development and implementation of inspection processes and methods.
Ensures effective corrective/preventive action to improve processes.
Performs and/or support process assessments and audits procedures to ensure compliance to technical specifications, and ISO-9001 / AS9100 Industry standards.
Interfaces with customers, program personnel on quality related issues.
Support and contributes to the decision on acceptability of product.
Basic Qualifications: Engineering degree at the Bachelor level (completed) Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Knowledgeable of ISO9001 and AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action planning Knowledge / experience evaluating risk when establishing processes, and improvements Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques Knowledge of Configuration Management and control processes Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated presentation skills Desired Skills: Experience processing and dispositioning non-conformances Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product / performance specifications and other systems integration technical data Apriso and SAP Application experience Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS) standards Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule required onsite collaboration, at least, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office.
