22, 2023 Program: E&T/PDE/RAD LABS-O Description:The positions primary responsibilities include supporting the testing, identification, analysis, review, application, and verification of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) design requirements on various communication systems, sensors, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components to ensure compliance with system performance requirements.
Responsibilities also include supporting EMI program planning, supporting EMI test readiness reviews, and product manufacturing support.
• Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components • Work with the engineering teams on assigned programs • Participate in EMI testing, qualification, selection, and failure analysis of materials • Analyze EMI test reports and assist with EMI analysis process • Support tests in the EMI lab and support troubleshooting EMI out of spec conditions • Participate in material design reviews, test readiness reviews, and failure review boards • Support EMI projects with engineering teams to meet program objectives • Support RF analyses and documenting the results Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM degree • Background or coursework in mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, electrical packaging, or power system layout • Background or coursework of electromagnetic theory and principles • 1+ years of scripting experience; versed in MATLAB, C+, Python • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security clearance Desired Skills: Background, coursework and/or experience working in a lab environment performing testing and analysis • Background or coursework in EMI design; grounding, filtering and shielding as it relates to the control of EMI • Familiarity with TILE! or other testing software • Experience supporting material and process specifications, reports, and documentation • Ability to learn troubleshooting and support troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics/test sets • Experience supporting technical presentations • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
