04, 2024 Program: Orlando / ADSW / LRASM / LRASM A Description:This opportunity is for candidates with a BS or MS degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer/electrical engineering or combined experience/education interested in putting their skills to work as a Test Equipment Design Engineer.
You will have the opportunity to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of elements, subsystems and/or systems.
You will synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
You will establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
You will review, evaluate and derive requirements for testability, develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
Opportunities are available to coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations and perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
he Candidate will have experience in the skill set of CREO modeling and Windchill database use.
They must also possess knowledge of documentation requirements and the use of Windchill PLM for a configuration management system.
Candidate examines engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, efficiency, and simplicity in design; completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy; correctness of materials and processes; conformity to design/drafting standards, design specifications, and practicability; and economy of fabrication, assembly, and installation.
The Candidate will be proficient with the following tools: • Creo Parametric 7.

1 • Microsoft Office Products • Adobe Acrobat • Nuance/Kofax Power PDF.
The role will require proficiency in the following design areas: • Electro-mechanical design and packaging • Cables • Break-out boxes • Custom chassis • Multi-bay test consoles • Rack and stack • Schematics (Mechanical, Electrical) • Mechanical fixturing • Production test equipment • Complete drawings with dimensioning, views, balloons and notes • Parts list creation and correlation with drawings • Drawing lifecycle support capability • Ability to work with vague\\incomplete engineering input • Well versed in ASME Y14.

5 GD&T Basic Qualifications: Knowledge of Test Equipment and Test Methodologies.
Must have ability to model and create Test Equipment Drawings per MFC EPM utilizing CREO and Windchill Collaboration and Teaming abilities.
Ability to travel as needed.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills: Experienced in National Instruments software (CVI, TestStand, or LabVIEW).
Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
Significant experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Previous employment in a production facility.
