The Principal Site Reliability Engineer is a talented, experienced problem-solver, who is dedicated to providing our customers and partners with security value and outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities include: Implement and iterate the infrastructure underlying the Hilton Grand Vacations production environment in Cloud and On-Prem Participate in performance tuning, availability, and disaster recovery for production environments.
Work with engineering stakeholders to identify and design Chaos Engineering experiments.
Implement, run, and report on Chaos Engineering experiments in production environments.
Maintain and update infrastructure as a code for relevant components.
A strong desire to improve technology and processes.
Ability to logically troubleshoot availability and performance issues.

Qualifications To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: Bachelors Degree 5 years of experience working in a production environment Experience with AWS and/or Azure, oEC2, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, Kinesis, Azure APIM, etc.
Linux/Microsoft systems engineering System deployment, management, performance tuning, problem diagnostics Experience working with infrastructure-as-code base in Cloud Environment CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, etc… Ability to manage system impacting events Must be able to clearly communicate steps for resolution Strong scripting experience with at least one object-oriented language (Python required) Strong understanding of Agile methodology When you join Hilton Grand Vacations, you join a group of Team Members dedicated to helping Owners and Guests around the world make every vacation they take a memorable one.
