(CPT) is seeking a Software Engineer to design develop and maintain software applications.
Responsibilities include coding, debugging, and testing software, ensuring functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Designs and develops software applications.
Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
Evaluates, analyzes, and modifies moderately complex application programs.
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
Works on most phases of applications programming activities.
Analyzes and resolves problems associated with applications.
Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems.
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
Requirements: Required Qualifications/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 7+ years or more of work related experience Capacity to interact as the company representative with the customer in the collection and translation of requirements to defined specifications Ability to collaborate with customers, teaming partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain/exchange information, provide technical direction & assist in resolving technical issues Some experience with cyber testing or training to include experience with defensive and offensive cyber tools and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) High-level knowledge of: software development to include agile software development practices; programming languages; operating systems; networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage) Proficiency in PowerShell, bash scripting, Python scripting, Java, and C/C++ development Strong experience with Linux-based operating systems Knowledge of one or more continuous integration tools such as Jenkins Knowledge of infrastructure configuration automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc.
Knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP, etc.
Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMWare, Docker, HyperV, Xen, Kubernetes, etc.
Knowledge of version control systems such as SVN and Git U.
S Citizen and Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
