Description:Primary job responsibility will be to perform document checking functions for mechanical, electrical and electronic packaging engineering drawings and specifications on the LRASM program.
This person will be required to perform all functions associated with the checking process which include, but are not limited to, format, specification compliance, completeness, accuracy, design soundness, ANSI Y14.
5 GD&T standards, EPM standards, fabrication, assembly, installation, and interface validity, tolerance analysis, BOM verification, data management, CRs and CNs.
Person should be proficient in the use of CATIA V5, SmartTeam and Windchill and have expertise in all areas of tolerance analysis, GD&T and electro/mechanical design skills.
Ability to coordinate and work multiple checking activities concurrently is required.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills are a necessity.
Understands the importance of program detail schedules and task tracking and reporting.
Must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance with a 5-year background investigation.
Basic Qualifications:

Citizen and be able to obtain a
Department of Defense Secret Clearance
-Experience with dPLM, and other systems to
perform engineering documentation processes.
-Experience with Catia V5 and SmarTeam.
-Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and ASME Y14 Drawing standards
-Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from an
accredited college
Desired Skills:
-Experience with interpretation of engineering
and documentation procedures, and associated
audits (ISO9000, CMMI, and internal audits)
-Good oral / written communication, and
presentation skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
