This job posting advertises opportunities for both Summer and Fall 2024 semesters.

JOB SUMMARY: This intern role will work with the delivery teams to define, develop, test, and analyze guest-facing websites and applications in support of the business requirements and project goals.
Intern will interface with front-end developers, service developers, project managers, product owners and business partners to deliver assigned tasks throughout the production life cycle.
Intern will also have exposure to the testing and build/deployment processes for releasing products to production.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works as part of a scrum team to create code that directly contributes to project deliverables.
Collaborates with scrum master, product owner, developers, and architecture team members to understand the scope management and delivery processes.
Acts as a liaison with technical staff to assist in resolving issues found during testing and validation.
Actively shares ideas, accomplishments, and blockers to the delivery teams and leadership.
Attends meetings related to the project deliverables and provide status updates.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 2.
8 GPA is required.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
Preferred software experience includes GIT, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, ES6+ and/or TypeScript.
Preferred knowledge of CI/CD, Unit Testing, Linting, and Code Coverage.
Preferred knowledge of Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Consistent attendance.

This internship will be a hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2024 or December 2024 to participate in the Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 semester, respectively.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing.
Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
In addition to all of our internships being paid, you may be eligible for financial assistance towards housing if applicable.
