We are currently seeking a Software Build Engineer with experience developing and overseeing automated CI/CD pipelines targeting Windows and Linux system environments.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent experience as well as a minimum 3 years of experience with build configurations and Agile methodologies.
We would also like to see experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) with JetBrains TeamCity CI/CD platform or equivalent solutions, SCM systems such as PlasticSCM, SVN, or Git, scripting languages such PowerShell, Bash, or Python, Unity3D or equivalent real-time simulation engines, Automation and Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack, application, network, and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis and Canonical Ubuntu and/or Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Test automation and mobile publishing experience is a plus along with experience with unit, integration, and functional testing tools, including Selenium and Junit, Docker, and CompTIA Security+ Certification.
We currently operate in a hybrid work from home environment, however, due to the nature of this position, the majority of work will be done in our office.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and improve automated CI/CD systems, pipelines, and processes.
Work with engineering teams to identify manual processes that can be automated
Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting applications operations, including build configurations, automation systems, and release pipelines
Monitor and analyze metrics to improve system performance
Recommend infrastructure enhancements to optimize and stabilize automation systems
Create and maintain documentation on processes and tools
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal
Frequently communicates with stakeholders and management
Travel is required
