Key Skills: • Experience with tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace or other performance monitoring tools.
• Experience managing a team of other members of an Enterprise Monitoring team.
• Experience integrating enterprise monitoring tools with an Enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) implementation.
• Experience interacting with operations support (both NOC & SOC) • Experience supporting agent and agentless based monitor plug-ins across multiple OS and Network systems.

Responsibilities • Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will implement and maintain the overall framework to support systems, network, application and business logic real-time monitoring, longer-term trending and event management and alerting.
• You will create and maintain operational dashboards for both real-time and trended views for multiple levels of users (External Stakeholders, Operations, and Engineering).

system status and health.
• You will create event correlation rules matched to Cyber Security monitoring requirements.
• You will provide day-to-day support, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise monitoring tools and ensure the availability, performance, and security of the overall system.
• You will collaborate with business, engineering, operations and other key partners to ensure operational readiness of new solutions and ongoing optimization/improvement of existing solutions.
• You will integrate disparate monitoring/management platforms into a central monitoring view for central monitoring.
• You will develop new tools and methodologies for the use by System Administration and Helpdesk teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• You will constantly expand and improve the integration of applications, tools and dashboards.
• You will collaborate in creating business monitoring requirements to translate into technical specifications for monitoring capabilities.
• You will document all systems, tools, and applications created in the support of enterprise monitoring efforts.
Qualifications • Requires at least 7 years of experience in the monitoring and tools field with additional experience in systems, network or application administration preferred.
• Bachelor degree is required • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience with tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace or other performance monitoring tools.
• Experience with Agile based delivery of system components • Experience with Agile project tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Working knowledge of security architectures, application servers and various scripting languages.
• Working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, and familiarity with firewalls, hubs, routers, switches, DNS, gateways, load balancing and basic network analysis/troubleshooting and how to monitor their health and efficiency.
• Familiarity with key servers/encryption, PKI/certificates, JAVA, APIs and browsers.
• Experience with AWS.
AWS certification(s) are a plus.
• Experience in designing and creating custom tools, scripts, and interfaces to build monitoring and alerting capabilities custom fit to the systems in use.
• Experience in multiple scripting languages is preferred like Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
• Experience working with DevOps and/or DevSecOps teams to embed monitoring plugins/agents with the intent that newly deployed systems require minimal effort to register with enterprise monitoring systems.
• Previous experience defining, creating, and supporting monitoring dashboards for various levels of users and providing reporting and status information clearly and at actionable levels.
• Experience supporting systems that follow an SDLC model.
This includes assisting environment/platform leads with the design/implementation of alerts/notifications.
• Experience interacting and presenting inputs towards solutions with senior leadership within IBR and at times, represent IBR professionally when interacting with customers or customers representative staff.
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Good understanding of and experience in Agile methodologies within a fast-paced software development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
