The position is based in Orlando, FL.
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for providing engineering support for the civil engineering design and hydraulic modeling group.
Typical projects include a wide variety of federal, state, and municipal projects involving storm water, hydrologic and hydrologic modeling, site layout and design, water resources, and water/wastewater projects involving collection and conveyance systems and associated utility design, pump stations, and stormwater storage and treatment facilities.

Your Role: Work closely with Engineers to help plan and design stormwater, water, and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution, conveyance, pumping, and storage facilities projects Support the planning and design of site improvement projects, including grading, drainage, roads underground utilities and other site features Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses Present writing assignments to contribute to project documentation and deliverables such as memos and reports Assist design team to prepare construction drawings, specifications and cost opinions Prepare permit applications and supporting materials Provide periodic visits to construction sites to observe progress and ensure contract design and specifications are being followed Help review submittals from contractors for conformance with engineering specifications and drawings and respond to requests for additional information Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental/Agricultural & Biological Engineering required 0-2 years of relevant experience EIT Certification preferred, or ability to obtain Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, to include Word/Excel (required), AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills About Tetra Tech Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
