org/ The Work You Will Do: The Government Operations Consultant II is a member of the Reemployment Assistance (RA) Quality Assurance Training Team within the Division of Workforce Services.
The incumbent of this position is responsible for identifying, coordinating and providing statewide programmatic (RA) and systematic (RECONNECT) training; developing training guides and materials necessary to perform job duties; analyzing and making recommendations to resolve statewide RA training issues and concerns; and providing direction and guidance to RA management.

00 annually Your Specific Responsibilities: This is highly responsible administrative and consulting work involved in planning and assisting in the directing, training and operating of a statewide RECONNECT system for the Reemployment Assistance (RA) program.
Responsibilities include assisting in coordination and efficiency of administrative, programmatic and operational aspects of service delivery while providing liaison and consultant capabilities for the solution of operational and management problems.
Identifying, coordinating and providing statewide RECONNECT training; development of guides and materials necessary to perform job duties; analyzing and making recommendations to resolve statewide RA training issues and concerns; and providing direction and guidance to RA management.
Within the Development, Support and Training Team, will work dual roles as a functional lead to coordinate and approve analysis, design work, and associated development responsibilities and also work as a subject matter expert for additional functional areas.
Work directly with vendor business systems analysts, designers and developers to validate business system requirements.
Work to fully integrate the business requirements into the new system.
Create scripts to be used to test and validate the new Benefits System.
Troubleshoot difficult cases in connection with all aspects of the reemployment assistance program, interact with claimants, employers, elected representatives, and resolve difficult issues involving the claims, tax and appeals process.
Handle special or unusual problems.
Resolve reemployment assistance cases of a particularly complex or unusual nature.
Review policy, procedures, and guidelines with regard to the unemployment program.
Aid in the interpretation of the Florida Reemployment Assistance Law and Federal Regulations pertaining to reemployment assistance.
Provide guidance and counsel to management in regard to problems and policies related to programmatic and operational issues and prepare recommendations that aid in the development of uniform policies, instructions, directives, and other procedures in regard to the reemployment assistance program.
Assist in the development of solutions for programmatic operational problems.
Prepare letters and reports and develop statistical data.
Ensure that timely and accurate responses are made to inquiries.
Perform other related duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of reemployment assistance law, rules, policies and procedures.
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendation, solve problems, document workflow, and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
Ability to conduct fact finding research.
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
